Eddie Mack, also known as "Mack The Bear," was born in Tuscaloosa County. Eddie Mack was a senior at Druid High School when his professional life began to take form. His friend and mentor, the late David Allen, was the Sunday Morning Gospel announcer, and he groomed Mack to be his successor. Through the years, Mack has done it all: Blues, Jazz, and Gospel. Also a sales representative for WTSK, Mack lives by his motto: "Live Well Today. Yesterday is already a dream, and tomorrow is only a vision; but today well-lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope."
